Coach Hilton-Green is a genuine team builder, setting an expectation that his players work hard both individually and collectively. He believes in the value of every practice and every game, stressing that the squad must work together and commit to improving each week. However, his approach is holistic; while he demands effort, he also asks the team to enjoy the process—to embrace the camaraderie, the challenge, and the satisfaction of growth.

Originally from Grahamstown, South Africa, Coach Hilton-Green’s strong athletic background informs his coaching style. He knows the dedication required to excel, having been a five-sport athlete in high school and then playing rugby at the collegiate and professional level. This wealth of experience translates into a deep understanding of what it takes to form a cohesive, successful team.

Under his guidance, and with the support of the athletic department, the varsity girls team has consistently achieved success, earning five district titles—a testament to the athletic department’s team-building and coaching principles.

When not on the field, Coach Hilton-Green enjoys his time off by spending time with his family.
